Like many, most, or all of you, the sudden disruption of life that occurred in early March was difficult for me to adjust to.
I wish that I could say I had settled into many a new norm, but I haven’t. This year has wreaked havoc on my desperate need to control everything external, while everything internal fights to maintain homeostasis. And for all of us, control freaks or not, it’s introduced a host of different challenges.
That said, outside of those significant changes imposed by outside circumstances, significant changes have been made intentionally. Decisions that took our family from the heart of a major city to the heart of a largely unpopulated desert.
I hope to unfold some of the reasons and context for that in time, but for now I just wanted to drop in and say I’m still here. Hope you’re okay.
